The kids in Figi dance a lot better than he does, but ... I guess that's not the point.
Had a dream last night that I was in a post-apocalyptic city. I was wandering around in the rain and mud, trying to find a place that was dry enough for my tent. A newscaster was talking about chemical explosions. I looked at my wallet and all of my personal identification was gone. Strange when dreams paint pictures of moods.
Wow! You've got to check this out: Shit My Dad Says. It's written by a 28-year-old guy that lives with his dad who's in his seventies.
"The dog don't like you planting stuff there. It's his backyard. If you're the only one who shits in something, you own it. Remember that."

Not a fan of the straight-legged jean comeback.
Might be doing a trip to see Joanne and fam (the Vancouver clan) in the Fall.
Thinking about taking a sign language class, but it might be better to just schedule something with my sister Sue and do it via webcam.
I've been going to church on Sundays. It's a church Lora's been going to for years. The reverend reminds me of Jimmy Walker from Good Times.

Okay, okay, okay. I just found out that my friend Melissa who is a Motion Picture Still Photographer worked on Drag Me To Hell. In fact, THAT'S HER SHOT THEY USED FOR THE POSTER!!! God, I want her job. She's worked with David Lynch, Meryl Streep, Sigourney Weaver, Jodie Foster, Hilary Swank. I met her in San Francisco in '92 when she was working on Copycat with Sigourney Weaver. They were shooting on Treasure Island and she took me to the set and showed me around. Yes, I'm a lucky girl. Go, Melissa!!
So I went to go see "Drag Me To Hell" with my mom. I asked her if she wanted to go see a horror movie and she said that anything would be better than sitting on the front porch. It was pretty extreme. I think she liked it. She definitely looked horrified. Personally, I thought it was brilliant. Sam Raimi is a master of horror. I laughed, I screamed, I got chills. And all for 50 cents. What can I say? Anything having to do with Sam Raimi, Quentin Tarantino or David Lynch and I'm there.
Saw this yesterday. I think everyone should see this. Yes, it's hard to willingly submit your bubble to bursting, but ... knowledge is power.
Deep down inside I'm a black blues singer, but on the surface I'm more like a rodeo clown.
